today i met a new acquaintance.
His name is Joel, Mel’s drummer. He’s half a foot taller than I am. We studied together in CB today.

and surprisingly, Lee and I interacted with him very well.

i like friends like Lee and Mel because Lee would just simply come up with a question, Mel and I would come up with a theory and debate with Lee’s theory. Mel and I would usually think of a similar theory and create a defense while Lee tries to bombard us with her counter-attacks.
We find joy from doing this. Wonder why i wasn’t in the debate team. I like to debate.

Me: of course not lah! It’s number one.

Mel: yeah, zero is equal to infinity. How can one equal to zero?
Me: one cannot equal to zero. Half plus half is a whole, which equals to one and it can't be a zero.
Lee: minus one is a zero. Therefore, one is equal to zero.
Me: no, minus one is zero minus one. Minus one is like zero plus one but on the negative side.
Lee: minus one is an imaginary number.
Me: no it's not! It's still a number nonetheless. And zero is equal to infinity.
